To celebrate the launch of the IKEA store in Reading we were invited down as part of the entertainment team to make the day a fun experience for all the shoppers. Armed with our pro Nikon D4S with wifi and an iPad for data capture and instant uploads to social media, we were able to roam around the store. We then turned people into instant catalogue stars by photographing them in the room sets, allowing them to choose a variety of borders and then upload their image straight to their social networks.
Above is Paul in action. Below you can see how the finished shots looked with the branding automatically applied . Customers could instantly send their own photographs to themselves safely and securely by text straight to their mobile phones, by email, or could post on thir own twitter, facebook or instagram accounts.
