Paramount Pictures celebrated the launch of the new Street Fighter movie with a party at NQ64 in Soho, the retro arcade bar, and we were there with our AI photo booth. Guests stepped up, threw their best Hadouken and walked away looking like they’d landed straight in the game.
The brief
Street Fighter is one of the biggest names in gaming, so the guest experience had to feel like the game. It had to be fun and loud, and easy for people to jump into between rounds on the arcade machines.
An AI photo booth was the obvious fit. Instead of a standard photo in front of a backdrop, guests get transformed into a proper Street Fighter scene, with neon backstreets, flaming fireballs and the logo on top.
Custom backdrop and Hadouken filter
We designed everything in-house for the night. That meant a custom backdrop to set the scene in the venue and a bespoke Hadouken filter. Guests struck the classic fireball pose, and the AI added the blue and orange energy blasts coming out of their hands.

Guests got their images straight to their phones, ready to share, and could take home a printed copy too.
Working in a tight space
NQ64 Soho is a brilliant venue, but space is tight once it’s full of arcade cabinets and guests. A standard booth set-up wouldn’t have worked.
So we brought our compact Roamer booth with a special wide lens. That let us capture guests full length, fireball pose and all, even though they were stood really close to the camera. It’s the kind of detail that makes the difference between a cropped head-and-shoulders shot and an image people actually want to post.
How it went
It was busy all night, with hundreds of photos taken and shared across the evening. Groups kept coming back to try different poses, and the Hadouken quickly became the move of the night.

It’s a great example of what AI booths do well at brand activations and film launches. Guests share images of themselves inside the film’s world, not just a photo of a party.
