The Just Eat Awards is a huge job which we do annually at The Savoy Hotel, London. As the hundreds of guests and celebrities arrive we photograph them in their groups in front of a huge logo board. We print and frame a copy for each guest, and these are delivered to their tables. We get these 300 photographs printed and framed before the main course!
At the same time we have our Infinity booth running to keep the guests amused with instant photos and live social media sharing direct to their mobile phones. Our Infinity system is extremely fast and looks amazing with colour coded led lighting and a very smart matching print station.
We are also taking professional event photographs upstairs in the arrivals area. As the guests go into dinner we continue to record everything. These event photographs are editted live on site and send to the AV team who project them onto the huge screens. At this event the excellent David Walliams was compering, He arrived dressed as a Deliveroo scooter driver much to the delight of the guests!
Whilst the guests were in Dinner we moved the Infinity system downstairs and set it up to do Boomerang Gifs and Photos to change the activity and keep it fresh. As the Awards were given out to the guests during breaks they came upstairs with David Walliams to have a special large photograph taken with him which we also framed. He is a very kind and patient guy, great compere. It’s a busy night for us but we really enjoy the event each year.
