We took our portable green screen TV Studio on the road for McDonald’s and Heart to produce live green screen videos in the UK’s main shopping centres. We helped create the footage, designed the special lyrics, and pre-programmed the TV Studio ready for the tour. After a quick dry run of the system to check the huge sleigh fitted onto the green screen we designed, we were off!
The brief was to encourage guests to jump in the sleigh and be flown over a Christmas wonderland whilst singing along to “I wish it could be Christmas every day”. Then the guests could instantly upload the video to their email, facebook or twitter, and by doing so enter the competition to win a car! Here’s an example of a completed one with Elaine and the Heart Angels who did a wonderful job organising the queues and getting everyone involved.
We started at the Bullring in Birmingham, then Bluewater in London, did the long haul to the Trafford Center in Manchester, then finished at Sheffield. It was a hugely popular attraction and everything worked flawlessy. The wireless sound system was great, our wireless lighting coped with the early sunsets, and our powerful wifi worked everywhere we went. The iPad app was amazingly fast, and people were getting the email link to the videos instantly. Of course we had disclaimers running, full data capture and everything was branded, even the iPads! Stretch Communications organised and designed the whole experience to an amazingy high standard as usual. We supplied the green screen, green floors, led lighting, iPads, locking floor stands, TV Studio, Canon C100 camera, fluid head tripod, and wireless sound system. It’s all part of the package, we just make it work, all day, every day, and it’s very affordable. Here’s a quick video, shot on iPhones sadly, but it’ll give an idea!
