The Savoy Hotel London was once again chosen as the spectacular venue in which to host The BTA’s again this year. The award ceremony celebrates the best of british takeaways from across the UK, judging them not only on the quality of their food but also on what they do for their local communites. The stories were incredibly inspiring!
As each guest arrived we photographed them in front of a beautifully designed step and repeat area with amazing props. We made everyone feel like a star and even the celebrities got involved. Each shot was editted, printed and framed then delivered to the guests during dinner.
The animated Gif booth was a massive success, guests got more and more involved as the night progressed and the drinks kicked in. The social sharing stats were amazing as with GIf’s like these everyone ewants to share. Then of course everyone on their social media sees the image so the spread is huge. And because the system is so fast and simple (just enter an email or mobile num ber) we get hundreds of guests through each hour.
Whilst we were taking general event photgraphs and also printing and framing every guests unique arrival shot, our other team were tasked with operating our award winning GIF booth, which the nominees and celebrity guests couldn’t get enough of.
The award ceremony itself was hosted by everybodies favourite scouser, John Bishop. We had a general event photographer covering the ceremony itself as well as photographing all the winners with John at the end as well.
